For many of us, Google Analytics is one of the most important tools we use every day. Here we will find out in detail how much visitors were on our pages, where they came from, where they went, and much more. Analytics is a really powerful tool and the slightly dusty hood conceals many great features that help us to analyze traffic properly. However, the fewest go by, because the design and the user management of Analytics do not invite you to try everything out.
Google wants to do something against that and in the coming weeks and months many changes are to be rolled out worldwide. These include:
1. Easy navigation
A new navigation in the material design should make it easier to navigate in the powerful tool and thus reach the target faster.
2. User friendliness
Even customizations are currently distributed across many pages at Analytics, which makes it very difficult to work with. In the future, therefore, all adjustments will be summarized in one menu item so that the work becomes more comfortable.
3. Easy changes
The Home tab is replaced, and there is soon a selection button at the top of the page that allows you to switch between views. Saves only one click, but will make the usage much more comfortable.
In addition, a few small things are changed, which mainly focus on the user friendliness. All in all, there are so many small things, but they overall have a great influence on the usability and therefore certainly well accepted by the users.
