Evaluate Your Content with the New Search Console Feature

Content is King, or at least that’s how the old saying goes. Well there’s a bit of truth in everything, and a whole lot of truth in this. Whatever audience you target, you better be right about the type of content they’re looking for. Heat maps is one way to evaluate content, an advanced usage of Google Analytics another one, to name a few.

There’s a new handy tool that should help with content evaluation – Google Search Console insights for content, available in beta testing, called Content Creator. The purpose of this is to be able to better evaluate which content works on your website, and which does not.

It should revolve among the following questions, among else:

– What parts of my content are performing well?
– How well does the new content perform?
– How do my users find my content?
– What are the best search terms to use?
– What links are leading to my content, is there an increase?

All these questions should be much easier to answer using the new Creator insights. Now that the first group of invite only users tested it, there will be modifications done. For more up to date info about when will this be available for public – follow the Google Webmaster Twitter Account!.
